How it works How does the SafeStop work exactly?
The SafeStop is a pass-through adapter that sits between your charging cable and your device. Plug your cable into the back of the adapter, then plug the adapter directly into your device's USB-C port.
As your device charges, the SafeStop monitors the battery level. The moment it reaches 100%, a built-in spring mechanism physically ejects the connector from your device port — cutting the electrical connection completely. No trickle charging. No software setting to remember.

Charging speed Does it slow down my charging speed?
No. The SafeStop is a pass-through adapter — it delivers the full power of your charger directly to your device with no speed reduction.

How it works What happens after it ejects?
Once the connector ejects, the charging cable is still connected to the back of the SafeStop — but the electrical connection to your device is physically broken.
Your device stays at 100% and no more power flows through. To charge again, simply re-plug the adapter into your device port.
LED indicator What does the LED light mean?
The SafeStop has a small LED indicator on the side of the adapter body.
Blue light — the adapter is actively charging your device. White light — charging is complete and the ejection has occurred. The light helps you see the status at a glance, even in the dark.
